Hi, I'm Alex and I made this website for our school social justice projects in Social Sciences.
I chose to do my project on plastics in the ocean becuase I think it's such a big problem, and if we keep going at this rate there won't be any clean beaches.
I chose this problem because it's a major factor to climate change that sometimes gets overlooked. I would like to raise as much awareness as possible so together we can atleast slow down the affects of climate change and save animals.
The main issues, I believe is that so many animals are dying and that it's a hard problem to stop. Let's be honest most of the food you have at home is in plastic wrapping the device your reading this on might have a case made of plastic and have plastic inside it. Don't get me wrong not all plastics are this bad but if your still shopping and getting plastic bags then something has to change.
Some of the more simple things you can do for this problem is recycle, stop using plastic bags. If you read the previous quetion you'll know that plastic is genrally hard to get rid of from our day to day life so I would be surprised if you went plastic free and didn't have a hard time at any point.
